Summary:
Law Firm seeks experienced Senior Database Administrator with a minimum of 7 years of experience in SQL-based database management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in administering and supporting financial and accounting systems, as well as experience with cloud data migration and governance. This is a full-time, hybrid remote position located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities: - Manage data flows, integrations, and technology components of finance and accounting systems. - Perform routine and emergency maintenance support for SQL databases. - Collaborate with project managers and other IT department members to ensure solutions meet user requirements and established IT standards. - Provide production support for deployed systems and participate in rotating on-call duty. - Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions for law firm financial, human resources, imaging, workflow, and new business intake systems. - Mentor other IT department members on database design and optimization.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 7 years of experience with SQL-based database management systems, including 3 years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2012-2022. - Strong technical experience with financial and accounting systems and knowledge of associated hardware and operating systems. - Extensive experience with Windows/Azure architecture and core administrative applications. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and end users. - Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously. - Experience supporting law firm/professional services administrative systems, especially Aderant Expert Financial Management System (FMS) and iTimekeep timekeeping solutions. - Microsoft Certified DBA preferred. - Experience with Azure, Windows Server platforms, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and architecture. - Familiarity with server virtualization technologies and containerization. - Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management. - Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Information: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience with SQL-based database management systems, including recent experience with MS SQL Server 2012-2022. Experience with cloud data migration and governance, as well as supporting law firm/professional services administrative systems, is highly desirable.
