Job Description
• "The Insights Availability & Visualization team" is responsible for operations and maintenance of installation of Cognite Data Fusions (CDF) and the data warehouse. In addition, the team is aiming to be the unifying center of gravity for analytics and data science.
• Daily work to operate and improve Cognite Data Platform, data management (data sets maintenance) and service configurations
- Develop and maintain extractors ingesting data into CDF
- Develop and maintain transformation within CDF
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements and optimizing data delivery
• Work closely with relevant roles int IM&T within the areas for data quality, data security, infrastructure, and IT service provider to ensure that solutions adhere to the Clients standards.
• Be the receiving part for new solutions and data sets developed in projects, such as EurekaX, and ensure that the solutions are within the standards and are well documented.
Qualifications Required:
• Høyskole / Universitet, Hovedfag / Mastergrad / Siv.ing
• Experience with different aspects of the Cognite Data Platform
• Deep knowledge of SQL and python. Knowledge of GCP is preferable.
• ETL and transformation processes
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architecture and data sets
• Experience and understanding of the oil and gas industry, and relevant processes and systems used.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure
• Strong communication and analytic skills related to working with datasets
