Salary:
- $138k - $162k a year in Syracuse, NY - $166k - $195k a year in Brooklyn, NY
National Grid is seeking a Senior Counsel to support the NY Regulatory team in a hybrid position that can be based out of their offices in Syracuse, NY or Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience as a practicing attorney with strong analytical, research, and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include providing expert legal advice and counsel, drafting and filing regulatory documents, advocating for the company in regulatory proceedings, and managing legal matters with significant impact. The role also involves staying current with industry laws, regulations, and trends and actively supporting diversity and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications for this role include a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, admission to the New York State Bar, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
