They will be responsible for managing and providing counsel on various business transactions and supplier issues, and will also mentor less experienced attorneys and paralegals. The successful candidate will have a JD degree and state bar certification, with 8-10 years of experience in corporate or general transactional law. An understanding of legal issues related to procurement, advertising, media, consulting, IT, and the health care industry is beneficial. The salary range for this position is $151,500 - $288,000, and AbbVie offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for commercial transactions and supplier issues - Negotiate complex agreements for the purchase of goods, services, media, and emerging technologies - Mentor less experienced attorneys and paralegals - Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures - Identify and resolve legal issues in a timely and practical manner - Stay updated on changes in the law - Represent AbbVie externally to customers, suppliers, and competitors
Qualifications:
