Job Summary:
The Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as a liaison and business partner for global enterprise business units. This role will provide legal advice and counsel to internal clients, manage risk, and ensure compliance with legal and contractual policies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and risk management policies. - Identify contractual risks and issues and propose solutions. - Work closely with domestic and international business units to support legal and compliance initiatives. - Negotiate various types of agreements globally. - Identify areas for business improvement and implement efficient processes. - Provide legal guidance on the development and commercialization of AI features. - Act as a privacy legal point of contact for business units. - Conduct effective communication and training programs. - Exercise balanced judgment and identify potential legal issues. - Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications:
- JD with 5-7 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software-related contracts and agreements. - Knowledge of intellectual property. - Experience in project and process development and management. - Familiarity with software license agreements and revenue recognition practices. - Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to collaborate in a global and diverse environment. - Practical and collaborative problem-solving skills. - Understanding of global privacy regulations and data privacy laws. - Excellent communication skills. - Proficiency in relevant enterprise software.
Imprivata offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary and variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives. The total compensation range for this position is $215,000.00 to $225,000.00. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
