Senior Corporate Counsel
Job Summary
The Senior Corporate Counsel provides legal advice to leadership, functional departments and ensures compliance. The role is responsible for reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, managing litigation and conducting internal investigations.
Job Functions and Duties
- Conduct internal investigation and handle investigations of government administrative agencies
- Prepare and review contracts, policies or memos as directed by Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel. Contracts include NDAs, joint development agreements and purchase and sales agreements with 3rd parties.
- Advise on Human Resources/Employee Relations regarding employment issues as directed by Assistant General Counsel.
- Manage outside counsel as may be delegated by General Counsel
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant General Counsel
Qualifications
- Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin
- Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
- 5 years or relevant experience
- JD from an accredited law school
- The employee is regularly required to stand or sit for long periods
- Duties will include long periods of viewing a computer monitor
- Writing skills - ability to communicate effectively and accurately in writing
- Reasoning ability - ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
- Computer skills - can use Microsoft Office efficiently

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Must be 18 years of age or older.
