ROLE: SENIOR BUSINESS INFORMATION SPECIALIST
LOCATION: CENTRAL PARK, SANDYFORD, DUBLIN (HYBRID WORK MODEL)

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT AND AIB
The Retail Portfolio Management Unit currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic business information specialist to join the team. The team is responsible for the delivery of a Portfolio Management Centre of Excellence for AIB Retail Banking, providing portfolio oversight across Lending and Resources Products, and Other income. The team are accountable for the delivery of insightful management information on the portfolio's performance to support and inform the AIB Retail Banking's business strategy. WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL:
*Manage the delivery of a comprehensive suite of reports which provide senior management with the required insights into the performance of the various that will support oversight of the Resources and Non-Interest Income Product portfolios *Take a lead role in Data/Portfolio projects/initiatives and represent the team at senior forums, and provide support to other Group wide projects/initiatives as opportunities arise. *Turn data into information and information into insight. Work with and interpret variety of data sets to develop the insight that solves problems and identifies business opportunities. *Play a lead role in designing a fit for purpose MI dashboard to support growth business areas *Support management in developing pricing strategy for the Product portfolios and relevant branded products *Support a continuous improvement culture within the organisation, where innovation and creative thinking is encouraged and developed *Actively seek to eliminate complexity, successfully identifying opportunities to leverage technology for process improvement and skills transfer to other members of the team *Support the planning process, forecasting trends in Product portfolios over the planning horizon, including Planning and Forecasting model maintenance, development and ongoing improvement *Ensure processes, procedures and controls are clearly documented to support critical BAU activity *Be a self-starter with the energy and drive to learn to use our Data to improve processes and solve problems under their own direction. YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU CAN/HAVE:
*Significant knowledge of the Resources and/or Non-Interest Income business *2 years business information/ data analyst experience preferably in a financial services organisation but not essential (bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems/ engineering/ economics or maths whilst not a pre requisite would be desirable). *Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of data and technical expertise in EDW, AIB systems, SQL, SAP preferable *Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy. *Strong relationship builder and capable of credibly managing internal stakeholders including senior management.
