Responsibilities: - Provide top-tier legal representation in matrimonial and family law cases - Guide and mentor junior attorneys and legal team members - Achieve positive outcomes for clients and maintain strong client relationships - Expand the firm's family law division through business development efforts - Manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet minimum billed and collected hours - Conduct legal research, attend seminars and workshops, and stay updated on developments in matrimonial law - Represent the firm at networking events and in the media - Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures and assist with administrative duties as needed
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school - Admitted to practice law in New York State - Minimum of 5 years of experience in matrimonial or family law - Strong knowledge of divorce law, custody issues, and support matters - Proven experience in handling complex family law cases, including trial and litigation experience - Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills - Ability to manage emotionally charged cases with sensitivity and provide excellent client service - Experience in supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and legal staff - Proficiency in legal research and case management software - Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
