LOCATION: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 with Hybrid Working
This role is being offered on a permanent basis.
The Energy, Climate Action and Infrastructure team was set up 3 years ago and is one of the fastest growing areas of the Bank. There is a unique opportunity for an experienced financial modeller to join the Energy, Climate Action and Infrastructure Team. The candidate will be required to assist the team assess opportunities and prepare credit applications and reviews, for a key growth area within AIB and the Irish economy. The role will focus on large scale lending to renewables and infrastructure projects which directly contribute to Ireland's and Europe's climate action goals.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:
*Perform detailed financial modelling analysis and has the ability to run detailed sensitivity analysis *Enhance relationships with new and existing customers with good communication and customer focus *Form an integral part of the risk management culture in AIB and adherence to codes of conduct, laws and regulation *Write parts of Credit Papers for new business for consideration by the relevant Credit Authority as well as for annual reviews and transaction amendments *Assist with managing an existing portfolio of credit exposures within the Credit Policy of the Bank *Ensure compliance and administration obligations are satisfied to a high degree *Collaboration with other parts of AIB including AIB UK, Treasury and Operations Teams
