SUMMARY: DSW is seeking a passionate, experienced and results-driven SEO Analyst to join our SEO team. This role will be responsible for conducting regular analysis to identify opportunities to grow our organic search rankings and traffic, as well as own the creation and management of SEO analytics tooling to track and measure performance against KPIs. Collaborating closely with external and internal key stakeholders across the organization, the SEO Analyst will play a key role in bringing data-driven SEO and content strategies to life during an exciting time where SEO is a top priority for the company.
REPORTS TO: SEO Manager
WHAT YOU'LL DO (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
Responsible for conducting in-depth analysis to develop our strategy covering technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO opportunities to drive organic search traffic growth *
Conducts keyword research to define our keyword strategy for optimizing and creating landing pages *
Builds and owns reporting dashboards to monitor performance regularly against our main KPIs *
Shares actionable insights and opportunities with the SEO team, leadership, and key stakeholders across the organization
Performs gap analysis to unlock opportunities to narrow any gaps with the competition, consumer trends and other channels *
Drives innovation to boldly test new ideas that can accelerate learnings and performance growth *
Evangelizes SEO best practices across the organization that are aligned with "white hat" tactics *
Partners with external and internal key stakeholders within Digital, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, IT and more to identify and execute opportunities *
Monitors the competition, consumer trends and search industry changes to stay innovative and agile in an ever-changing environment
WHAT YOU'LL NEED(QUALIFICATIONS):
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science or related field of study *
3 years of SEO experience (ecommerce experience is a plus) *
Experience with SEO tools including but not limited to: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Adwords, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Lighthouse and keyword research tools
Knowledge and experience in technical, on-page, off-page and local SEO *
Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills required *
Experience with Omniture/Adobe Analytics strongly desired *
Experience with SQL, JavaScript, CSS or other coding languages is a plus *
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to turn data into actionable insights and data-driven decisions
Self-starter with strong communication, attention to detail and collaboration skills to work effectively with key stakeholders
