Boutique Bellevue Traffic / DUI law firm looking for a Rule 9 intern. The successful candidate will have some relevant traffic law experience and the ability to assume immediate responsibility. Ideal candidate would be new law grads or Rule 9 licensed legal interns.
We are searching for someone with who possesses high standards in their work product, is enthusiastic about Traffic/DUI law, ethical, reliable, able to work independently, and sympathetic to clients' concerns. Candidate must also have a strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written advocacy skills, thorough research and analysis abilities, and a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities include:
Review/manage all aspects of client files Prepare pleadings, orders, motions, subpoena's etc. Conduct client consults Communicate with opposing counsel and court representatives Conduct and review discovery Attend hearings on the infractions/criminal Calendar Bi-lingual in Mandarin or Cantonese a plus
Experience: None necessary – just a willingness to learn on the job
