Position Requirements:
Ideal candidates for this role will have at least 3 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers & acquisitions, or commercial contracts. Experience in the renewable energy industry and with power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contracts, equipment supply contracts, construction contracts or similar agreements is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are also key to success in this role.
Compensation and Expectations:
Holland & Hart offers a merit-based compensation system, where associates are evaluated on their individual performance and achievements. The firm is also committed to pay equity and, as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, is providing a salary range of $200,000 - $255,000 for this position (if based in Colorado). Associates are also eligible for bonuses and fee splits based on their contributions and hard work.
The firm expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, with 75 hours dedicated to pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), including at least 25 hours focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
