TITLE: Marketing Coordinator, DRG EC

OVERVIEW: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the production of proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials used to support business development efforts. This position works with division and business development leadership, local managers, and the Davey Corporate Marketing Team to leverage Davey Resource Group's strengths to win work. The Marketing Coordinator manages a small team of professional graphic and layout specialists. This is a leadership position and requires excellent communication skills to successfully carry out the objectives below.
OBJECTIVES:
*Maintain the process around the production, maintenance, and storage of proposals, templates, project profiles, staff resumes, and other marketing materials used to support business development efforts. *Manage the staffing, output, and professional development of a small team of graphic and layout specialists; continue to grow the team and services as needed to support operational growth *Support a common theme and visual appearance for the above materials as well as business correspondence, project reports, and deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
*Four-year degree in journalism, marketing, or related degree *Experience in the architectural/engineering/environmental consulting industry *Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Google for Business, and preferably Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent *Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment working with complex, remote teams *Possesses impeccable organizational and time management skills *Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication *Excels in relationship building, intra-personal skills, and collaboration *Ability to partner with senior-level staff members *A proactive, resourceful, self-starter who can easily multi-task against deadlines
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Manages and directs the proposal process from start to finish, including drafting content, gathering information, and coordinating with sub-consultants, area managers, business developers, and graphic designers. *Serves as the marketing contact for assigned area offices, providing strategic support for all new business leads. *Writes and/or edits project descriptions, personnel resumes, and other stock marketing materials; also assists with website content updates. *Works with Davey Marketing to provide support for miscellaneous marketing needs, including: brochures, ads, mailers, announcements, etc. *Continually assesses proposals and other business development collateral for quality and efficiency and develops actionable practices to improve processes. *Establishes best practices for software platforms and file storage, as it pertains to project information, resumes, etc.; mentors staff on best practices. *Assists with interview preparation, including developing presentation materials, competitor research, and coaching as needed.
