Position Summary: - Provide support for real estate and corporate legal team - Assist with document preparation, administrative duties, and project-specific legal support - Ensure projects and contracts are completed accurately and on time - Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information for Legal Department tasks and transactions
Essential Functions: - Act as a liaison between Legal and internal departments - Prepare and update forms for sale of residential homes, including dynamic fillable forms - Perform corporate maintenance tasks and manage tickler calendar system for timely completion of corporate filings - Interface with escrow agents and title officers to move transactions forward - Type correspondence, reports, memoranda, and legal documents - Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency - Conduct research and distribute real estate documents - Scan and file electronic and hard copies of files - Manage merge documents and reservation paperwork - Draft and revise contracts, disclosures, and notices - Calendar litigation deadlines, meetings, and court appearances - Organize and gather information and documents for legal matters - Oversee invoicing and processing of legal bills - Draft formation documents and manage business name statements and EINs - Maintain confidentiality in all tasks - Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Minimum of 2 years experience as a real estate paralegal - Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills - Strong collaboration and communication abilities - Proficient with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of word processing features - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment - Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks - Team player with ability to respond effectively to management's needs and priorities - High level of integrity and professionalism - Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
