Real Estate Paralegal at Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC
Summary:
Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a prestigious law firm with over 300 attorneys, is seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal for their Property Department Practice Group in Melville, New York. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, including transactions, loans, sales/acquisitions, and leasing. This is an in-person position and the salary range is between $70,000 to $85,000, negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Review Purchase and Sale Agreements and prepare closing checklists and key date/docketing memos - Collect and review due diligence materials - Prepare closing documents and settlement statements for various real estate transactions - Review title evidence, surveys, zoning, and compliance issues - Conduct entity searches at the Department of State - Conduct online research to verify property information - Interact with clients and all parties involved in real estate transactions - Provide general support to the firm's commercial real estate department
Requirements:
- Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate with a law firm or in-house legal department - Independent, proactive, organized, and diligent worker - Able to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines - Strong communication and analytical skills
