The Real Estate Legal Counsel at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** Renewables NA will provide support on real estate transactional matters, including renewable energy project development, construction, operation, acquisition, disposition, and financing. This role requires a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state, preferably in Texas. The ideal candidate will also have strong title, survey, and real estate due diligence experience, as well as experience in project finance, non-recourse debt, and tax equity investments.
Responsibilities for this position include providing legal advice on various aspects of renewable energy projects, maintaining real estate records, coordinating efforts with internal teams and other legal teams, identifying project risks, conducting legal research and analysis, and efficiently managing outside counsel. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to advise business managers on complex legal matters.
