About the Team: - Led by Partner, Mitchell Ball, listed as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 (2024 edition) and ranked as a leading Individual in Chambers & Partners (2024 edition) - Team is in expansion mode due to client demand - Looking for an additional lawyer to support ongoing workload - Candidate must have experience in a strong regional or City firm - Must be able to manage a busy caseload and deliver excellent client service with minimal supervision - Flexibility to support wider team across various workstreams
Key Responsibilities: - Provide exemplary level of client service and care - Competent financial management, including accurate time recording, billing, and management of WIP - Actively contribute to business development opportunities - Maintain up-to-date technical expertise - Be accountable for personal development and continuously develop interpersonal and soft skills - Comply with SRA competence standards - Carry out reasonable tasks as required - Have directly relevant previous experience and correct level of post qualified experience (PQE) - Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industry and client's business - Proven track record in financial management and meeting client expectations - Good IT skills, experience with case management systems, electronic time recording, and Microsoft packages - Self-starting and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills - Consistently demonstrate and embody firm's values
