This flexible role teaches the Education and Organizational Development Surgical Services Orientation Course and other related classes. Class presentations may be facilitated virtually or in-person. As part of facilitating learning, the role will utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to convey information to our employees. In the role, you will have a planned teaching schedule each month. The role is based in Roanoke however, travel to different Carillon facilities may be required. Schedule could range from 4-10 days a month.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in nursing required
EXPERIENCE: 3 or more years of experience working in the intra-operative setting. Scrub nurse experience preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth Virginia (for RN/LPN classes).
OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Strong presentation and training skills, effective oral and written communication, and the ability to observe performance and provide constructive feedback. Able to facilitate the learning of others.
