POSITION: Project Manager - Forestry and Utility Access
TYPE: Full-Time
POSITION LOCATIONS: California
Ideally based within areas where the majority of work is - Sierra Nevada Range and San Bernadino Mountains. Opportunity to work throughout California and the west.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Work with the management team to staff, coordinate, and complete projects. *Responsible for successful completion of client project goals *Maintain staffing levels to achieve project schedule expectations *Implement robust training and QC processes to ensure work quality *Coordinate with the client, internal management, and external stakeholders *Oversee projects related to forest and fuels management and utility access *Oversee contracts to ensure specifications are met. Assist with any necessary change orders and review and submit invoices timely
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Four year degree in horticulture, forestry, urban forestry, environmental science, or related discipline required *Utility right of way vegetation management experience *Demonstrated leadership ability *Previous project supervision experience *Organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail *Ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and inclement weather *Clean DMV driving record and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle *Experience with writing forest / fuel management plans or CEQA desired *Holds Registered Professional Forester license, or has the interest, experience, and ability to obtain within 1 year
