Cox Kliewer & Company, PC is an award winning Architectural, Interior Design Firm that has a position open for an Project Architect. We offer a relaxed work environment, and potential for growth. Our office is small and works on multiple projects, thus requiring flexibility to either work independently or as a member of a team. The Project Manager position requires strong leadership and communication skills with expertise in specific project types (industrial, retail, mixed-use, multi family housing, etc). Monitoring and tracking project progress, aged accounts, invoicing and budget, and is responsible for overall project performance and profitability. Develop schedules, budgets and proposals (contracts). Responsible for building, maintaining and managing client relationships. Has excellent technical knowledge and management skills and is able to plan, direct and monitor all aspects of projects. Is involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently and capable of directing and managing other staff designated to his/her projects. Possess strong drive, motivation and self-initiative. Communicates and coordinates project requirements with the project team and consultants. Adheres to company policies. Must be a team-player and able to adapt to various team structures, working independently and as part of a larger team. Job will include project management tasks including prime client liaison, project budgets and schedules, consultant coordination and team coordination. Job will include participation in marketing new work, proposal writing and contract coordination.Candidate needs specifically between 5 -10 years experience working within an architecture firm with an emphasis on client service, team management, and project management and NCARB member. Registered in the State of Virginia a plus but if not, must be able to obtain.
