JOB OVERVIEW In collaboration with students and stakeholders, the Division of Student Affairs at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (UC) strives to cultivate an inclusive campus experience. The Division of Student Affairs values an accessible culture of academic success, engaging relationships and experiences, holistic development, and intentional student advocacy. UC is seeking a Program Manager for Student Activities & Leadership Development (SALD), a full-time professional staff member reporting to the Assistant Director of SALD. This person will be a key team member in supporting the marketing, planning, and execution of large campus programs within the Division of Student Affairs.
The Program Manager will directly advise UC's Programs & Activities Council (PAC), the student programming board that hosts 25-35 programs annually. The Program Manager will also serve as the co-chair for Welcome Week, the chair of the divisional programming team, and manage SALD's social media accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. *Implement policies and procedures. *Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. *Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. *May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION *Bachelor's Degree. *Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE *Three (3) years of experience in program development or business administration. *May require supervision experience.
