JOB OVERVIEW
Manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. *Implement policies and procedures. *Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. *Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. *May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree. *Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Three (3) years of experience in program development or business administration. *May require supervision experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Experience advising and consulting with students, faculty, staff and alumni individually and collectively to embrace the importance of building an inclusive, appreciative, and welcoming environment *Experience serving on campus committees in support of an inclusive community and actively engaging in a leading role in matters pertaining to current and prospective student programs and initiatives *Ability to plan, design, evaluate, modify and coordinate programs *Coordination of diversity initiatives and outreach for LQBTQ and Veteran students *Coordination of Learning Communities
