This role will support our attorneys in managing a dynamic caseload of pre-litigation personal injury cases. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate with excellent communication skills and prior legal experience. Responsibilities:
- Conduct client interviews and insurance inquiries to assess case viability under attorney supervision - Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions they may have - Request and track necessary medical records and bills to ensure timely case progression - Organize and maintain case documents in a well-structured filing system - Collaborate with the marketing department to provide client feedback related to marketing efforts - Review and analyze medical records and billing for accuracy and relevance to the case - Draft legal documents, including petitions, discovery responses, and pleadings - Schedule and coordinate legal events, such as doctor conferences, depositions, and mediations - Assist with the negotiation of liens and draft disbursement statements for final settlements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of prior legal experience, preferably in personal injury - Excellent communication and organization skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from $22-$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth within the firm.
