JOB OVERVIEW Dr. Joo-Youp Lee's research group in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is currently accepting applications for two post-doctoral fellow positions. The Lee lab (**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***is developing an innovative sorbent-based Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. Candidates with a strong background in inorganic chemistry, synthesis, characterization, and adsorption are encouraged to apply.
This is initially a one-year appointment with a potential renewal to an additional one-year term, contingent upon satisfactory performances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Successful candidates will conduct research and development for a successful bench-scale demonstration of Dr. Lee's sorbent-based DAC technology.
REQUIRED EDUCATION A PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science is required by the appointment date.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED *Strong background in reaction, separation, and process engineering is preferred. *Strong publication record. *Previous experiences in post doc and scale-up are preferred.
