The research will involve colloid synthesis, polymer membrane fabrication, characterization, drug release kinetics analysis, gene expression quantification, and the efficacy test in vivo. The postdoctoral fellow will work on hypothesis testing, experimental design, data analysis, in vitro cell culture, and preclinical (animal experiments) tests, and will mentor graduate and undergraduate research assistants.
REQUIRED EDUCATION Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in biology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, material science and engineering, or a related engineering or science discipline.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED *Preference will be given to applicants with experience in drug delivery using liposomes, gene expression quantification and material synthesis. *Part-time positions are also considered.
