Job Summary: The Allen Law Firm, an award-winning law firm, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our professional and fast-paced team. This role will involve supporting our attorneys in all stages of litigation and managing case files. We offer a competitive salary and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
Job Duties: - Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions. - Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and motions. - Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations. - Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date. - Prepare and file court documents, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines. - Coordinate and schedule depositions, court appearances, and meetings. - Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and coordinate case activities. - Assist in trial preparation, including creating exhibits, organizing evidence, and managing trial logistics.
Qualifications: - Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s degree, or a related field. - 3-4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a law firm environment. - Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Proficient in legal research tools and case management software. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Salary and Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience. - Sign-on bonus of $7,500 for qualified candidates hired and employed for at least 30 days.
Requirements: - Must have 3-4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. - Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. - Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 (WordPerfect/Word, Outlook). - Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
