Job Description: - Draft briefs and legal documents - Conduct legal research for trial preparation - Maintain organized case files and materials - Summarize medical records for discovery responses - Assist with family settlement discussions and mediation - Communicate with service providers and insurers for settlement negotiations - Support attorneys in trial preparation and document drafting
Responsibilities: - Proficiency in case management systems, such as SmartAdvocate, is a plus - Familiarity with pre-litigation process in personal injury cases is highly valued - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - High-level organizational and time-management skills - Completion of a NALA certification program preferred
Requirements: - 2-4 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer, preferably in a personal injury law firm - ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree desired - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Completion of NALA certification program preferred
Salary: $22-$25 per hour
