Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file all prosecution documents for US and PCT applications - Correspond with foreign associates regarding foreign prosecution - Timely reporting of official correspondence - Prepare formality documents such as Declarations, Assignments, and Powers of Attorney - File Information Disclosure Statements and fulfill Duty of Disclosure requirements in various countries - Process incoming correspondence from Patent Offices and report to appropriate parties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate required - 3 years of experience in US and foreign patent prosecution - Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat - Proficiency in CPI and IPDAS preferred - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
