Job Title: Patent Engineer/Patent Agent - McGarry Bair Location: Remote/Grand Rapids, MI Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Responsibilities: - Analyze patentability of inventions and conduct computer searches for related inventions - Prepare and prosecute patent applications - Assist in assessing infringement risks for new products - Guide the development of new products
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or science (advanced degree is a plus) - Strong reading and writing skills in English - Strong computer skills, especially in computer searching and research - Ability to learn new technologies quickly and teach others - U.S. citizenship and residency in the United States
Experience: - Previous experience as a Patent Agent is a plus - Legal experience is not required for the Patent Engineer position, as training will be provided

We are currently seeking Patent Engineers with backgrounds in engineering or physics (Mechanical, Electrical, and Aerospace preferred) to join our team and help protect our clients' intellectual property.
