# Licensed European Patent Attorney ## Join Law Firm in Paris Office Law Firm is looking for a Licensed European Patent Attorney to join its Paris office. The successful candidate must have a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics and at least 4 years of experience from private practice.
The hired individual will be in charge of patent prosecution, performing patentability analysis, freedom-to-operate analysis, handling oppositions and appeals before the EPO, providing IP counseling, and litigation support. He/she will serve an extremely diversified customer base, including many international clients, in cooperation with Law Firm's offices in the US, Japan, and China. He/she may also help US patent attorneys to draft and prosecute US patent applications. The hired individual will be commercially oriented and contribute to the business development of Law Firm in Europe.
The ideal candidate should have a European Qualifying Examinations-EQE qualification, an excellent command of English and French speaking is a plus. This position is a full-time role with a start date in the third quarter of 2023.
