Job Description
Patent Agent/Technical Specialist The candidate should have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, data science, physics, mechanical engineering, or materials science, as well as relevant technical industry experience. Must have 3 years of active experience with preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Those with experience in computer software, machine learning, and wireless telecommunications experience would be preferred. Understanding of current issues in patent law (e.g., subject matter eligibility) and articulable strategies for proactively dealing with such issues is needed. Must have a USPTO registration number and be in good standing with the USPTO.
