Job Summary
As a Patent Agent, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in drafting and prosecuting US patent applications. You will also have the chance to coordinate responses to foreign office actions and further develop your skills in the field of electrical engineering. With our comprehensive training program, we will provide you with all the tools and resources you need to succeed in your role.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute US patent applications - Coordinate responses to foreign office actions - Conduct patentability searches and analysis - Assist with patent portfolio management - Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop and implement patent strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering - 0-2 years of technical experience - Admitted or eligible to be admitted to practice before the USPTO - Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and writing skills - Motivated self-starter with a commitment to excellence
Compensation and Benefits
Sheridan Ross offers a competitive salary and benefits package to our full-time employees. This includes health care benefits, personal paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, discretionary bonus, parking reimbursement, and more. We also offer full remote work options depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Base Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 with a 1750 billing expectation
