Are you an experienced patent agent with a background in electrical engineering or biotechnology? Do you have a passion for patent law and a desire to work with a top law firm? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Our law firm is seeking a highly qualified Patent Agent to join our Intellectual Property Department.
As a Patent Agent, you will have the opportunity to work closely with inventors on newly created products, assist in the identification of patentable inventions, and research current patented technologies to best assist our clients. You will also have the chance to draft patent applications with the assistance of our patent team and track the patent application process from initial application to granted patent.
We are looking for candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, with a preference for those with a Master's degree or PhD. USPTO registration is required, and we are seeking candidates with at least 1 year of professional experience, with a preference for those with 2 years of experience.
