Job Description
Eschweiler & Potashnik, LLC (Cleveland, OH) seeking a Registered Patent Agent to assist a licensed patent attorney in assessing whether electrical engineering related inventions are new and innovative and therefore eligible to be patented. Will utilize research and analytical knowledge and experiences in the disciplines of electrical engineering, patent law and language, and assist in leading individual inventors or companies through the required process to obtain a patent and to evaluate whether activities might be infringing a valid patent. Requires Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, (or related field; foreign degree equivalency accepted) and authorization or limited recognition to practice matters before USPTO and registration or limited recognition to practice matters before the USPTO.
