Work type: Part Time Hourly Location: Evansville, IN Categories: Workforce Alignment General Description of Position: This position supports Ivy Tech's Career Link service for program management and student support. Provide first-line reception for the Career Link office; providing customer-focused service to prospective and current students, employers and community partners. Major Responsibilities: Functions as clerical and office support for the Career Link office and staff. Responds to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries from individuals, companies and students concerning Career Link programs and services. May include student registration, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies and materials for courses, and other duties associated with facilitating the delivery of Career Link courses and programs. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Administrative Office Technology or equivalent work experience required. Computer experience in word-processing, spreadsheets and data base management required. Must be capable of handling difficult situations.
