Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete self-guided training using the Mawn Law Offices Training Manual - Maintain filing system and client database - Generate client billing using Quickbooks, Excel and Filemaker - Communicate regularly with clients to inform them of case status - Answer and screen all incoming calls - Manage incoming and outgoing mail - Draft letters and pleadings - Assist with copying, faxing and scanning - Utilize Connecticut Judicial Branch's E-Filing system - Record billable hours and submit daily and weekly time management reports
Hours and Compensation:
- Part-Time, 16 to 20 hours per week - Flexible hours and days to accommodate your schedule and the needs of the firm - $16.00 per hour

As a part-time legal assistant at Mawn Law Offices, your duties and responsibilities will include maintaining our filing system and client database, generating client billing, communicating with clients to update them on case status, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.
