Paralegal – West Chester (Chester County): Full-time position with Legal Aid of Southeastern PA serving individuals with limited income, older adults, veterans and domestic violence victims. Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, with a variety of legal issues including housing, family law, domestic violence, consumer, employment, and public benefits. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with case management systems and bankruptcy software is a plus. This position will require a combination of in-office and remote work, as well as participation in outreach efforts throughout Chester County.

Responsibilities: - Conduct interviews with applicants and clients to determine eligibility and gather relevant information - Triage calls, evaluate cases, and assist attorneys in preparing documents and correspondence - Maintain case files and complete administrative tasks using case management system - Manage a caseload and take prompt action on assigned cases - Stay updated on relevant laws and community resources through training and educational opportunities - Participate in community outreach and education activities - Adhere to professional and ethical standards - Develop forms and run reports to ensure compliance with grants and contracts - Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications: - Associate or bachelor's degree - At least 2 years' experience as a paralegal or related experience and/or training - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other computer skills - Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills - Spanish language fluency is desirable
