Responsibilities:
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents - Work with attorneys to create new plans or update existing ones - Handle funding of assets into established trusts - Draft, review, and implement contracts and transactional documents - File necessary documentation with various government offices - Administer probate and trust administration matters - Communicate with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in cases - Report to multiple attorneys
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or certificate from accredited paralegal training program - Minimum of 2 years experience in estate planning, probate and trust administration, estate tax and financial planning, and/or business transactions
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Strong client relationship and problem-solving skills - Experience with case and database management - Detail-oriented and appreciates processes and procedures - Technical writing, drafting, and organizational skills are a plus - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Team player - Experience with Timeslips and Time Matters applications a plus
