Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in discovery and pre-trial matters under attorney supervision - Assist with case management and delivering other legal services - Prepare cases for trial - Collect and review medical records - Draft motions and pleadings
Qualifications:
- Prefer recent civil litigation experience - Prior paralegal experience, preferably in litigation - Familiarity with court rules and procedures - Strong organizational and communication skills - Working knowledge of case management and document storage systems
Education and Certifications:
- Paralegal degree/certificate/certification, medical training, or relevant coursework - Must meet California Business & Professions Code 6450 for paralegal requirements
