As a paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our busy plaintiff’s personal injury practice. Position Overview:
The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and clients in handling personal injury cases. The primary focus of this position is to provide support to our attorneys and ensure that our cases are handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, writing, organizational, and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation - Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies - Maintain case files and documents - Conduct legal research and analysis - Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court appearances - Prepare and file court documents - Other duties as assigned by attorneys
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a law firm setting - Previous experience in personal injury is preferred - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Strong writing and proofreading skills - Organizational and time management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
