We are currently seeking a Paralegal to join our team and assist with our rapidly expanding transportation system, Vegas Loop.
As a Paralegal, you will work directly with our Head of Legal Affairs and other principals to support ongoing and future projects. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in high-level strategic thinking while also getting your hands dirty, both figuratively and literally. Our ideal candidate is highly adaptable, has a strong academic background, and is passionate about our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of ongoing and future projects, including Vegas Loop - Conduct research on a wide range of business and legal issues - Support the dealmaking process from start to finish, including structuring the business model and negotiating contracts - Create systems to ensure scalability of Legal Department procedures and documentation - Review and negotiate contracts - Draft and manage Company policies, agreement templates, process documents, playbooks, and other forms - Manage filings to government agencies and courts - Assist with on-the-ground operations, compliance, real estate, and other matters
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in pre-law, business, engineering, or relevant technical discipline - 1 years of experience managing complex projects
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Excellent grades and strong record of academic achievement - Strong writing skills and attention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, accomplishing tasks with limited resources at a rapid pace
