Job Title: Family Law Paralegal Salary: Based on experience Experience: 2 years in a family law firm

This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of attorneys and support staff, and expand your skills in a variety of practice areas.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, memos, subpoenas, and financial affidavits - Assist with trial preparation including creating exhibits, pleading notebooks, and performing child support calculations - Analyze evidence and discovery to produce documentation and respond with objections - Manage and track case management by updating calendars and organizing client files
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a family law firm - Familiarity with Local Rules and their application to family law cases - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in high stress situations - Ability to remain professional and empathetic with clients

- Creative and able to think outside of the box - Organized and energetic - Problem solvers with the ability to find solutions - Licensed South Carolina Paralegal and Notary Public
