- Assisting the General Counsel and Legal and Sustainability Departments in various legal compliance, contract preparation and management, research and documentation tasks. - Handling paralegal, legal operations and legal management tasks to support the legal and sustainability teams. - Ensuring the company's operations adhere to laws and regulations and its sustainability goals. - Drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and agreements. - Conducting legal research and gathering information on relevant laws and regulations. - Preparing, reviewing, and filing legal documents, presentations, and reports. - Ensuring the company's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Organizing and managing legal matter files and tracking deadlines. - Supporting due diligence and integration processes for corporate transactions. - Liaising with internal departments, external counsel, and regulatory bodies. - Preparing and conducting training sessions on legal and compliance matters for employees. - Maintaining accurate and organized records of all legal documents and correspondence. - Implementing and maintaining a comprehensive contracts management database. - Assisting in Legal and Sustainability budgeting. - Assisting in corporate secretarial duties, including board and committee materials and entity filings.
