Paralegal/Legal Nurse Consultant - Salt Lake City Office
Law Firm Seeks Experienced Paralegal/Nurse Consultant for Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice Defense Cases
Are you a skilled paralegal with a background in personal injury and medical malpractice defense? Do you have experience in litigation support and case management? Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage large caseloads, including discovery and trial preparation - Assist at trial and maintain familiarity with Utah and Federal rules of civil procedure - Review and produce documents, draft and respond to discovery, and conduct legal research - Communicate with clients, review medical records, and prepare medical chronologies - Coordinate depositions and manage multiple case deadlines - Provide client reporting and support for attorneys and team members - Utilize litigation support software such as Summation Pro, Relativity, and trial presentation software
Qualifications:
- Personal injury/medical malpractice defense experience required - Bachelor's degree preferred, ABA approved Paralegal certificate a plus - Highly organized and able to work independently - Excellent analytical and written communication skills - Familiarity with litigation support and trial presentation software
Salary Information:
- Competitive salary in the range of $25.00 - $35.00/hour, based on experience - Full-time employees eligible for benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and more - Possibility for part-time/hourly or salaried full-time, as well as hybrid (remote/in-office) options for successful candidates
