Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate responsibilities include drafting legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and discovery; conferring with clients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments and consultations; opening, closing and maintaining files; managing deadlines pursuant to the Rules of Civil Procedure; preparing trial notebooks containing list of exhibits and witness list, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research on West Law. NC Certified Paralegal preferred. Must have 2 years of paralegal experience. Family law or litigation experienced is a plus. Proficient in Word and Excel, highly organized, strong attention to detail, self-motivated.
