Job Summary: As a Corporate Paralegal at J.B. Hunt, you will work under general supervision to assist our legal team with routine legal matters, research, and administrative tasks. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification and at least 1 year of related experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Review, revise, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts and agreements - Maintain corporate legal documentation in systems and databases - Collect law sources and summarize legal terms for attorneys - Audit existing contracts and draft amendments when necessary - Assist with meeting preparation and gather relevant documents and resources
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification - Minimum 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience - Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy - Strong interpretation skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 - Knowledge of legal terminology and transportation/logistics industry preferred - Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve
