Job Description
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, is currently seeking a PROSECUTOR to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $37.22 - $51.07 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package. As a Hearings Examiner/Prosecutor, you will be responsible for providing prosecution assistance to the Division of State Police, handling cases related to the Juvenile Justice Program and other circuit court cases.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have a J.D. from a recognized law school and at least five years of experience as an attorney, with at least two years in administrative law or regulatory authorities. You must also be an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and possess a valid driver's license for statewide travel.
As a PROSECUTOR, your responsibilities will include reviewing arrest reports, holding pretrial conferences, responding to defense motions, subpoenaing witnesses, and representing the state in court. You will also be responsible for conducting legal training and providing guidance to law enforcement personnel on best practices in juvenile and circuit court prosecution.
