JOB SUMMARY **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** - TECHNOLOGY SERVICES GROUP (TSG) is seeking a seasoned Project Management Office (PMO) Manager in Roanoke, VA. You will provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards and leading practices to deliver and maintain highly effective technology-based systems. You will ensure compliance with Program and Project Management standards to provide the organization with well designed, complaint, stable, and valuable productive IT systems to meet operational demands. Additionally, you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations for the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure IT programs and projects meet organizational goals. You will serve as the go-to-person for road blocks or impediments among the Project Management Office. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED:
*Improving the overall project management maturity across the organization, tracking and reporting the conformance to plans and expectations of IT-oriented initiatives. *Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the IT PM staff, while taking on the more complex, multi departmental initiatives. *Conducting annual performance reviews with team members; providing feedback and training. *Lead the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable teamwork that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery. *Define, manage and direct the needed end to end IT PM work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits defined in business cases. *Make decisions and recommendations clearly linked to the organization's strategy and financial goals, reflecting an awareness on external dynamics. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field. Years of related experience must include information technology experience primarily in healthcare.
EXPERIENCE: Healthcare knowledge and experience working in a healthcare IT environment preferred. Requires strong technical, project management background with 10 years of hands on experience and leading project management teams. Program Management skills and experience, plus significant knowledge of project planning tools with evidence of practical application. Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams Proven leadership ability and strong team contributor.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION: PMI with Agile
OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of hospitals and health care industry required. Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to present technical findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
