SUMMARY The PC Support Technician provides excellent customer service and technical support to our organization and military customer. The PC Support Technician will provide support to computers, laptops, systems, printing, services, web and domain account administration, and imaging laptops/desktops as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide hands-on technical support to users, including desktop, laptop, web troubleshooting and support Reset web accounts and domain accounts for users. Document processes and procedures. Inventory control for technology hardware and software assets. Support Ticket System management and User Assistance. Timely Support Ticket System resolution. Maintain security policies and processes/procedures. Update processes and procedures related to PC Support. Installing and configuring Microsoft Workstation Operation Systems Imaging laptops and desktops as necessary. Antivirus and Operating System patch deployments and administration. Provide Excellent Customer Service to both internal and external clients/users. Participate in On-Call Rotation/Escalation QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION Required (Minimum) Qualifications High School Diploma with related computer and web skills and services. Customer Service Experience is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Have a current SECRET level clearance OR the ability to obtain one. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and applications General knowledge of networking and printer technologies and support General knowledge of security and desktop applications General knowledge of web technologies and support PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No Supervisory responsibilities for this job. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base.
