**Responsibilities and Duties:** - Monitor the progress of legal proceedings and ensure that all deadlines are met - Prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests - Draft pleadings and memorandums of law - Conduct legal research and cite-check legal documents - Manage document production, including document review and database management - Manage electronic and paper filing systems - Assist with trial preparation, including jury selection and witness preparation - Assist with the preparation of deposition summaries - Liaise with clients, court personnel, and outside counsel
**Qualifications and Skills:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - 2 years of paralegal experience in litigation - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint - Ability to work occasional overtime - Strong written and verbal communication, proofreading, and organizational skills - Familiarity with legal research tools and resources - Ability to multi-task and prioritize - Attention to detail
